Abby Duong joined Bay Street HR in 2025. As a Human Resources Assistant, she provides day-to-day HR support to Bay Street HR and the firm’s clients.

Her responsibilities include recruitment, employee onboarding and offboarding, HR administration, employee relations support. Abby also assists with workplace investigations, employee engagement initiatives, and maintaining compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

Abby holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Toronto. During her studies, she worked as a Research Assistant, conducting qualitative and quantitative research on inequality, historical oppression, and BIPOC communities in the Americas. Her research background has strengthened her analytical skills and ability to approach workplace issues with both professionalism and empathy.

Outside of work, Abby enjoys reading and staying active through recreational soccer. She values continuous learning, teamwork, and building meaningful connections both professionally and personally.
